HAPPY HAPPY HOUR DAY!!! Yes.  That's right.  I celebrate every Thursday by going to happy hour.  It's not usually planned and no one is really called, you just send out an email that says where you'll be and hope people show up.  Kinda sad since I'm gaining my beer belly back again.  Actually I'm not sure if I ever lost it, but I'm starting to notice it again.

Well yesterday was a sad day.  LOST we a repeat again.  I think a new episode comes on next Wed.  and someone gets kicked off!!  This is going to upset me if it's not the hot girl, Shannon, cuz she's the only one I don't really like too much. 

Well it's time for me to get back to work.  I'll update later when I'm bored again.

Hasta La Vista...

Well today is Diwali.  It is the Indian New Year/ Festival.  Pretty big deal in my house and most other Indian houses.  We have good dinners for a week and do some prayer.  Also the best thing is that you get a rack load of money from the fam.  I made like 100 bucks this morning in a matter of minutes. 

Monday night line up...

prison BREAKING NEWS..  The show is going to air until the end of this month, meaning 4 more episodes and the other 5 are going to air starting MAY 2006.  WTF.  But they also said that there is a second season in the works, which is both annoying and exciting at the same time cuz I want them to break out NOW.

TV SHOW REVIEW:
Prisonbreak.  Great show.  It's not really the best show, but more the best action show that's out right now.  The criminal group is getting tighter and tighter and I know all the ladies love Michael, the cool confident criminal

Tuesday night 

Bones.  Not a great show.  I can't take "Angel" from the WB seriously in a show where he's not a vampire anymore.  I sit there waiting for him to use his super human strength but instead he pulls a gun.  That's a 4/10 for me.

House.  Great show.  The guy who plays Dr. House, Hugh Laurie, is a great actor and his character as a super cocky medical genius is very entertaining.  The cases on the show I've learned about in a few of my useless classes like Protozoology or Marine Biology, so that makes it alittle more exciting.

Wednesday night. 

Do I even need to tell anyone what comes on?  LOST!!!  Best show on right now.  It's exciting, scary, and sometimes even funny.  All the characters are so well developed every episode is fun to watch. Also, now that they added in little twists and hidden details to every episode people can't help but re watch the episodes over and over to catch every detail.  Just to give you an idea of how famous this show is, the special numbers in the show were the no. 1 played lotto number in the US.

Thursday. 

Now this is kinda a touchy subject for me.  I hate to admit this but since not many people read my xanga it's ok.  I watch Smallville and EW.  If you don't know what EW is, it's just another one of those cheesy WB shows.  It might as well be Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill. 

Smallville isn't the best show in the world but Lana Lang is the hottest girl on TV right now and that skanktified her so that she's hotter in almost every episode.  mmMMmm.  Also if you were a comicbook/card person when you were little the show is actually shaping up now to what was in the comics.  Oh yea and Tom Welling isn't so bad looking himself for all the ladies. 

EW.  Great show.  Everyone should watch it.  This season isn't as good as the last three but still good.  (that's what I hear. wink wink)

Friday and Saturday 

No TV.  That's going out night.  Turn off the TV since you've already watched a total of at least 5-6 hours this week with the shows I've listed. 

Sunday night

Start the night at 9 with Desperate Housewives.  Hot MILF women.  Scandalous stories and weirdly intriguing situations, especially the guy/father in the basement of that house being held hostage.  WTF. 

Then at 10 there is Grey's Anatomy.  Best medical drama (ER style) show on right now.  This show is serious and funny at the same time.  It's girly but there is enough blood and severed legs to even that out.  Also the girls are kinda cute.  My favorite character is George the loveable guy who reminds me of a hobbit.  This is a must watch show of the week.

Elliot in the morning is the only source of jokes I have so this is going to have to do for now.

Mexican dude calls and says his name is Brown Nick.... meaning Brown Neck instead of redneck but his accent is so thick no one knows what he's saying.  You have to imagine his speaking in a heavy mexican accent and the words in parenthases are the actual words

Brown Neck:  Ay(Hey) Elot (Elliot).  Main (Man), yesterdays I got tree (three) punkins (pumkins) and carved them up to say Smell My Face for you.  Now all da childen day (children they) say 'Ay Smell my Faces'.

Elliot:  Wow you beaner.  You know what that is don't you?  that's Mexellent!!  AHHHHH hahahaha. 

Brown Neck:  I am a beaner main.  hell yea!  Can I have a t-shirt?

This weekend...

I went to Dupont on friday with Mike Li and Andrew to get a few drinks and hang out with some people.  It was a decent time.  Got to check out my new favorite Dupont bar called Lucky Bar.  Cheap pitchers of yuengling for 15 bucks.  We got about 3 of those and drained them pretty fast since it was 1 1/2 beers for me and andrew per pitcher and 3-4 for Mike.  That kid is a tank.   Then we walked over to our original plan which was the K Bar... not Gay Bar.  Well once we got there it looked super nice and there were cool people walking out and three bouncers chillin' infront.  I asked the guy what the cover was and he goes.  "Twenty Bucks".   I was like.. oh shit.  No chance.   That's when he started talking to andrew. 

Andrew:  Damn. Yo.  Tha's Steep.  I ain't payin' 20 fo this piece. 
Bouncer 1:  Why not?  This place is bumpin'
Bouncer 2:  Hottest club in DC.  Hott-TEST
Andrew:  Nah young.  I'm not tryin' to pay that much.  I'd rather fill up my tanka' gas.
Bouncer 1:  Psh.  You mean 2 gallons.  It's not worth it.  This place is HOT.

Andrew is the whitest asian kid you'll ever see and he's tryin' to be ghetto and doing a damn good job too.  It was sooo funny.  I laughed my ass off.

Saturday night was pretty fun too.  Went to Georgetown for Nightmare on M street but hung out at J Pauls the entire night cuz the lines were so damn long everywhere else.  We went in full costume, minus the mask for me cuz it was too damn hot.  Susan was a ballerina, Maria was a cat, and I'm still trying to figure out what I was.  Let me know if you figure it out.

So overall good weekend.  Now just to finish this week at Mike Li's and then i'm off to my new job and hopefully something more enjoyable.

Ok.  Today was just plain exhausting.  I woke up at 4:30 and left my house by 5 am to take my dad to BWI.  It took us about 30 minutes and that wasn't too bad BUT it took 1 hour 30 minutes to get to work which would normally be a 30 minute drive MAX.  It's ok though.  I got some good Elliot in the Morning time. 

The rest of the day was pretty average.  Nothing too exciting besides my 2 naps that I took after I got home.

Joke of the day:

Elliot is talking to some hick from West Virginia who calls himself Pretty Eddy or something like that.  Pretty Eddy is hitting on Diane and talking about having sex with her.

Elliot: What kind of Car are you picking her up in?
Pretty Eddy:  A truck.
Elliot:  Oh.  That means there's good Head Room.  HAHAHAHHA. 

If you've ever heard Elliot laugh then you would have laughed your ass off like I did.

I watched Smallville and I now have a big crush on Kristin Kreuk.  Just look at how hot she is.....

Well, it was another fun and exciting day in the life of Amit.  It was an average day of work at PSI and then home to relax.  The only change up today was that I had to take the Metro home from work. 

I have decided that I HATE the metro during rush hour times and have no clue how people in NY or other crowded cities stand so close to each other.  Today I sat down in the 'for old people' seat which I knew I shouldn't have done and karma of course hits me WAY too soon.  Just as I sit down a big black dude comes and stands right in front of me.  Just to give you an idea of how tall this guy was and how crowded this metro was.  This is my face    -->  {  <-- this is guys crotch.    So basically I had to look down at the ground for 30 minutes until my stop.  I sat there bracing myself for the possible collision if there was a rough stop.  Lesson:  Don't sit in the old people seat.

Last night...

I watched Elizabethtown.  It was a bad movie but one of the first few movies that I wasn't tired for.  It was relaxing and I like Kirsten Dunst, so I can say it was worth the 5 bucks I paid. 

Next movie on the list..  DOOM.  I am basically going from one bad movie to another until Harry Potter.
